Trend Report: Nolla

We've had a lot of rain here in the Northeast over the past few weeks. I mean, a lot. When you wake up in the morning to a steady drizzle on the 7th consecutive day, your spirits inevitably dive into a free fall and you find yourself contemplating how much you would be willing to give up to move to Bali. It gets bad when you start to forget what a blue sky looks like. But just yesterday, we were all reminded of the season we're supposed to be experiencing right now, when the clouds broke for the first time and I couldn't believe it, a ray of sunshine actually shot down from the sky. I was so shocked that I was temporarily blinded in my car and when I reached for my sunglasses realized I'd left them at home because I getting used to driving at noon with my headlights on. Well, not anymore! And just in time, too, because I've put together some outfits that absolutely epitomize summer. The Nolla wedge is truly a closet staple, something that's simple and comfortable but with a certain flair that allows you to dress it up or keep it casual. And I picked the hottest color, a patent leather red, to show you that even a bold shoe can look great with many different looks! Now that we've bid farewell to the stormy weather, you can be sure I'll be wearing my summer wedges in celebration all weekend long.

Sofft Spring/Summer Collection: Most Blogged About Shoes

At the beginning of each day, one of my favorite things to do is catch-up on the Google Alerts. Ever since I signed up to get alerts on 'Sofft', I've been absolutely amazed at the amount of news and stories circulating about Söfft. It shouldn't be too much of a surprise though. Sofft is one of those brands that, once discovered, becomes a go-to brand for women. A brand the women embrace and share with friends because (finally) there is a shoe that delivers on the 2 most important features of a good shoe: STYLE and COMFORT. It seems like such an easy concept but it's still so hard to find companies that are actually doing both.

That's why we like to highlight some of our favorite blogs and their picks of the season. We applaud you for your wise choices and thank you for spreading the good word about Sofft!

Here's what bloggers are blogging about most. Tell us what you think! What Söfft Spring/Summer shoe would you blog about?

These particular styles got coverage on multiple sites and we can see why! The Carlina, Fane and Fiji exude the best characteristics of Söfft - they are feminine, sexy and stylish. Oh yeah, comfortable too. Thanks fellow bloggers! We appreciate the support.

Trend Report: Riona

Phew. It's been a long week for everyone here at Söfft. We just got back from New York for the Spring 2010 FFANY trade show where we spent a lot of time setting up, running around, stressing out, showing off the shoes, and then breaking it all down. But in our downtime, we got to check out the crowded streets of Manhattan where, I'm proud to announce, gladiator sandals were on almost every woman's feet, from the casual shoppers to the working woman to the girl out for a night on the town. Lucky for me, I brought my Rionas in the Off White python print. I got so many compliments from strangers from the airport all the way to dinner. In fact, I had a hard time wearing any of my other shoes, and trust me, I brought enough for a new pair-a-day. By the end of the week, I had matched every outfit I packed with my Riona sandals. And to top it all off, they're functional: I even helped the guys load up the truck in them. Not that I recommend everyone do that in these shoes. But I speak from experience when I say that you'll be able to walk for miles and pull off the biggest fashion shoe trend of the summer at the same time. And don't be afraid of that sexy python print - see how well this shoe pairs with a variety of hot summer outfits!
