Söfft at the 2nd Annual Project Smile Date Auction

Söfft Shoe was proud to be a part of Project Smiles 2nd Annual Date Auction held in Boston, MA on September 19th, 2008. The Date Auction is a fun way for local singles to mingle and meet people - and to bid on eligible Police Officers and Firemen! And of course, it's all for a good cause so we couldn't resist being a part of it.

Söfft played a rather unique role in the nights festivities. As each bachelor was introduced, not only would the bachelor appear and strut his stuff on the catwalk - he was also holding a pair of pumps from the Söfft Fall Collection! What a way to entice a lady to bid on a date! Whether or not a love match was made....at least the winning bidder got a pair of shoes out of it!

Söfft really enjoyed being a part of such a fun night, for such a wonderful cause - children. Project Smile is a non-profit organization which donates stuffed animals, coloring books/crayons, small toys and children's reading books to police and fire departments for police officers, fire fighters and paramedics to give to children involved in traumatic situations.The Date Auction raised thousands of dollars for Project Smile.
