Trend Report: Fiore

Let's face it, packing for a trip is hard. If you're like me, you try to prepare outfits based on your destination and how long you'll be there, but the inevitable extra three, four, or twenty-something pieces always find their way into your bag and before you know it, you're sitting on it just to zipper it closed, never mind breaking your back trying to lift it. Luckily, there are a few tricks to packing just right for a getaway - the most valuable one? Pack lightweight, dark colored, go-with-everything clothing. You'll be amazed at how many outfits you can pull together with the right accessories and just one or two key pieces of clothing. Take a cue from these summer vacation looks, using just one cotton dress and the chic Fiore sandal in gold!

--The Söfft team is heading to Sardinia, Italy for the Spring 2011 photoshoot - you can bet we'll be wearing our Fiores while we're enjoying the beautiful scenery...and the delicious food! See you in a week!--

Trend Report: Ryder

While we may think of gladiator sandals as the hot new trend that's transforming our casual wear into sleek and chic ensembles, the truth is that they've been around since, well...the gladiators. The Romans were definitely beyond their time when it came to things like engineering, agriculture, and fashion. Their discoveries and accomplishments mean we don't have to re-invent the wheel - all we need to do is make it modern. This season, black and white ruled the runways, so grab the Ryder, throw on some crisp black and white pieces because when in Rome... do as the Gods of Style do.

Trend Report: Petrella

One of the major shoe trends for spring and summer is the wedge, and for good reason: they're adorable, they're comfortable and while they are more casual than a stiletto, they're so easy to dress up, too! And what's great about the wedge trend is just how well it works with all of spring's other trends. So grab your own pair of the Petrella and have fun mixing and matching your way through the summer!

Trend Report: Sabatina

Tailored black sandals: Every woman should own a pair. They're the footwear equivalent to the little black dress. It's a no brainer to match them up with classic work looks and maybe a select few dresses for a night out, but did you ever think that your classic black sandals could be...a little rock and roll? One of the hottest looks for a few seasons now has been inspired by the rock lifestyle, with edgy metallic hardware, sleek silouhettes, printed tees, leather, and of course, black. Söfft's Sabatina sandal is the perfect blend of everything you need to create some killer looks: sexy black croco leather, classic yet edgy Gladiator styling and enough of a heel to dress you up or tone it down. So try something new, let your inner rocker chic show and get even more style out of the classic black sandal - you already know it looks great with the rest of your wardrobe!

Trend Report: Biata

Spring fashion is full of trendsetting and fun looks this season, from acrylic jewels to flowery prints to neon yellow, well, just about anything. But the one spring trend that is the most flattering, the most universal, and the most timeless (i.e. full of value!) is the neutral color palette. These soft pastel tones look fantastic on absolutely everyone, and they're so chic and refined that no matter what the occasion you're dressing for, you'll be anything but boring! This season, the Biata in Ivory is the perfect shoe to carry you through a spring full of pretty neutrals, with it's Grecian-inpired gladiator design, creamy color and earthy-tan heel. Who needs acid yellow to stand out when you can knock 'em dead in these looks?
