Söfft was honored to be a part of BRAVO TV’s hit show, Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style. Not only is Tim Gunn a TV icon thanks to Project Runway — he is a seasoned fashion expert. So naturally, when Söfft was asked to be a part of the show – we were thrilled and flattered.
On the October 9th episode of season 2, Tim and his stylist co-host Gretta Monahan, worked with Angela to help her go from Concert Pianist to Entrepreneur Business Woman. Angela struggled with how to dress for her new part. Babydoll dresses and ill-fitting shoes were consuming in her closet!
When Tim and Gretta got a look at Angela’s shoe collection, they were shocked! Angela had simply come to the conclusion that she would never find cute, stylish shoes for her hard-to-fit wide feet. Tim and Gretta made it a special mission to prove to her that it’s just not so! There is hope. It is possible! That’s when Angela was presented with Söfft Shoes. What a delight to watch Angela’s reaction to the shoes. Her shoe collection would be forever changed.
The Söfft Shoes featured in this episode are from the Fall 2007, Fall 2008 and Spring 2008 Collection, due to the production timing of this series. Many of these styles may no longer be available. If you are interested in finding one of these styles, we recommend doing a little online shopping. There is a good chance one of our many trusted online vendors will still have some availability.
This eco-fabulous event will be "greened" with the help of Conscious Planet Media, including an eco-friendly red carpet from flor, odor eliminators from Pure Ayre, biodegradable bags from Biobag, soy candles from Soy Basics, hand sanitizer from Handefend, air sanitizers from Germ Guardian, biodegradable umbrellas from Brelli, energy-saving light bulbs from Aero-Tech Light Bulb Company, and recyclable plates/cups/utensils from Preserve. The carbon footprint of the party will be offset thanks to the generous support of Carbonfund.org. The N9NE Group at the Palms Hotel is providing a bevy of fun summer accessories including Playboy Club Frisbees, Ditch Friday hats and Perfecto Las Vegas beach towels. Plus, all of the talent in attendance will receive gifts from Söfft Shoe Company, SHIBUE couture and The Face Shop, among others!
"Our Malibu Beach Parties are all about the chic, fun and socially-conscious Southern California lifestyle," said Glenda Borden, celebrity party planner and president of Borden Entertainment.
The allure of this particular Malibu Beach House and its blend of social consciousness with traditional beach fun has already drawn the attention of Pink, Matthew McConaughey, Minnie Driver, Elisabeth Rohm, Plain White T's, Paris Hilton, Jeremy Piven and Adrian Grenier.

ST. PETERSBURG - Jodi Grace is not a big woman, only 5 feet 2 with a proportionate size 7 shoe. But like the market she is addressing, she knows people with big feet.
"When a woman has big feet, all her friends and family know it,"
said Grace, who in October opened Big Foot, a store that caters
to women needing large shoes.
"I've had a lot of people come in and say, 'My father saw this store and told me about it.' How many fathers know their daughter's shoe size? Fathers of big-footed women do."
Grace's best friend is a size 12 so she has heard the stories for years about how impossible it is to find stylish shoes for big female feet.
One day, while Grace was telling her friend about career woes, her friend was again complaining about shoe shortages. And the idea was born. While a simple concept, big- shoe sales have their complexities.
"I thought, they're shoes, it's not rocket science," said Grace, 45, who has spent most of her career as a sales rep for others. "But I've learned a lot."
Those who don't know women with big feet think the store is a failure waiting to happen, Grace said; those with big-footed friends think it's a gold mine. Solving this latter group's pain is something like a public service, she said.
